What is a Prayer Cloth?
Prayer cloths are a tangible and visible reminder of the power of God for the salvation of loved ones, healings, deliverance from oppression and evil spirits, financial breakthrough, and for other situations requiring a miracle from God. There is no magic in a prayer cloth, it’s about putting faith in God, not the cloth, for healing or prayers to be answered. When a prayer cloth it's prayed over it can be a carrier of the anointing and many people experience healing or answered prayers. Through faith, the tangible transfer of God’s miracle-working creative power flows into the life of the person who has it and births a miracle. The prayer cloth is dependent on the faith of those who prayed over it and not necessarily on the faith of the person who has it. The person who has the prayer cloth should carry it with them, pin it to their clothing or place in a close location to where they spend most of their time. Prayer cloths can be used with or without the knowledge of those the prayer is intended for.
In James 5:14-15 (amp) it says “Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the elders (spiritual leaders) of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”
Once your prayer cloths have been prayed over believe in God to answer your prayers for yourself or those you plan on giving it to for spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial needs. In Acts 19:12 (amp) it says “God was doing extraordinary and unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or face towels or aprons that had touched his skin were brought to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them." God’s healing anointing is tangible.
Below is the same scripture in different translations:
ASV – And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul; insomuch that unto the sick were carried away from his body handkerchiefs or aprons, and the evil spirits went out.
KJV – And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul; so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed for them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
BBE – And God did special works of power by the hands of Paul; So that bits of linen and clothing from his body were taken to people who were ill, and their diseases went away from them and evil spirits went out.
ISV – God continued to do extraordinary miracles through Paul. When handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched his skin were taken to the sick, their diseases left them and evil spirits went out of them.
When you read the different bible versions, it is so cool. All it took was a piece of cloth that just touched of his skin, and they were healed.
What about Peter? Just his shadow, and they were healed.
Acts 5:15 KJV – In so much that they brought forth the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and couches that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
What is Anointing Oil?
Exodus 30:22-29 – The Lord spoke to Moses: Take choice spices: twelve and a half pounds of free-flowing myrrh, half that – about six and a quarter pounds – sweet-smelling cinnamon, six and a quarter pounds of sweet-smelling cane, and twelve and a half pounds of cassia, all weighed according to the sanctuary shekel, and four quarts of olive oil. You are to make this into a sacred anointing oil, a perfumed compound, the work of a perfumer. It will be sacred anointing oil. With it you are to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the table and all its utensils, the lampstand and its utensils, the altar of incense, the altar for the burnt offering and all its utensils, and the laver and its base. So you are to sanctify them, and they will be most holy; anything that touches them will be holy.
Mark 6:13 – And they cast out many devils and anointed with oil many that were sick and healed them.
James 5:14 – Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord
2 Corinthian 1:21 – But it is God who establishes us together with you in Christ and who anointed us.
